Playing the drums is a fun and exciting experience. I will teach you the basics and then take you further up to a standard that will allow you to fit into a band setup with ease. A good solid drummer is the backbone of any band and let's not forget, it's always a drummer that bands are looking for.

About Me:
I was born in 1974 and have been a drummer since the age of 14. I am completely self taught and have been playing now for nearly twenty years. I am based in Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales.
I am predonenantly a rock drummer but this can be adapted to other genres such as pop or funk. I teach everything from setting up and tuning your kit to basic playing and song structure. Everyone is welcome from complete novices to seasoned amateurs.
I have performed with Nothing Sacred, The Nerve and Celtic Pride. I have played such venues as The Fleece & Firkin in Bristol, Builth Wells & Anglesey Welsh National Bike Shows, Bogies Rock Club in Cardiff, R&M's Rock Club in Merthyr Tydfil, Club Ifor Bach in Cardiff, The Archway Tavern in London, Exposure Rock Cafe in Birmingham and many more.
I have recorded three studio albums so I am very experienced in the studio enviromnent. Studios I have recorded in include Twin Peaks Studios near Brecon, Red Rock Studios in Blackwood & Loco Studios in Usk.
Drum Tuition - Terms and Conditions
1. The cost of a single 30-minute drum lesson is £12.00 or £20.00 for a full hour.

3. I require at least 48 hours notice for cancellation or postponement of a lesson or I reserve the right to charge the full fee. Unattended lessons will be charged at the full rate.
4. I teach during all school holidays.
5. Lessons take place Monday to Friday 4pm - 6pm. Weekend lessons will be taken if I am not committed with band duties. Please contact me for availability.
6. All lessons take place on a traditional drum kit as I feel that teaching on an electronic kit doesn't give the student the correct feel and could end up giving false results.
